Orthos Liquid Systems, Inc. (ORTHOS) announced today it secured a $13 Million contract from Kokosing Industrial to deliver Centurion™ filter underdrains, access hatches, scour air piping, engineering, extensive field service and performance testing for the remaining 72 filter cells at the DC Water Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWTP).
At the core of this innovation are Orthos Centurion™ nozzle-based monolithic underdrains, powering eight (8) biologically active contactors (BACs) filled with 10 feet of granular activated carbon (GAC).
